Fresh Pasta Cooking Instructions

We’d like to share our cooking traditions with you.
See below on how we cook the perfect pasta.

Cooking Instructions:
Bring 4-5 Quarts of water to a boil.
Add a little salt – It helps flavor your pasta.
Place pasta in boiling water and gently stir – 1-2 minutes.
Fresh pasta will usually float when close to cooked.

 Cooking Times:

Fresh Cut Pasta
Capellini, Spaghetti, Linguine, Fettuccine, Pappardelle
1-2 minutes

2-4 minutes

Stuffed Rigatoni
3-4 minutes

3-4 minutes

6-8 minutes

Fresh ‘Short Cut’ Pasta
Apastasauras, Radiatori, Rigatoni etc.
6-8 minutes

 Hand-Pulled Pasta:
Orechiette, Trofie, Fusilli
6-8 minutes

6-8 minutes

Carefully remove pasta and serve with your favorite
Severino Homemade Sauce or Pesto.
