The South is all about tradition, homemade cooking, and good hospitality. Saturdays are spent either watching college football or sitting on the porch drinking sweet tea. Life moves at a slower pace here…especially if you’re sitting in Atlanta traffic. Southern food tends to be associated with comfort foods like fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, and pecan pie, but many chefs have fallen in love with the South’s crops, its way of cooking and have begun to change what Southern food looks like. Ingredients like mustard greens, heirloom tomatoes, Vidalia onions, turnips, squash and peaches are just a few of the items I want to incorporate in my recipe ideas with our homemade pasta. Our region is rapidly growing and we are excited to make Severino Pasta a household name. We want our pasta and traditions to take root in this region, for the South to make it its own, and most of all we can’t wait for y’all to try our pasta!
